The purpose of the AHWN is to serve a world community of Afghan Hound owners and breeders. In support of that objective, we appreciate your help in supplying information and suggestions for publication. In order to encourage the growth of the Afghan Hound Internet community, we try to offer as many free services as possible and to keep our fee services as inexpensive as possible.
There are no charges for publishing news and information articles in the Afghan Hound World News. Clubs announcing shows can post notices at no charge.
We encourage you to send photos with your articles as email attachments, upload them via anonymous FTP to ftp.mrose.com/submittals or as regular mail to:

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions are free. All we need is your email address so that we can notify you when new info has been uploaded to the site.
KENNEL LISTING
Listing your kennel on the AHWN is free. Complete the Kennel Form and we will list your kennel and information on the Kennel page.
WEB SITES
If you would like to open a web site for your kennel in the AHWN, there is no set up fee - the only cost is the cost of the space itself.
Our rates are $50 per year which includes an email account, guestbook, use of a "community" background directory, a "community" midi directory, weekly site backups, and 1meg of storage. If you use more than 1meg we will notify you and you can lease additonal space or delete those files no longer used. Additional storage costs are $2/meg per month.
We give you the first month free to sort the bugs out of your site, get listed with the search engines, and decide if you want to keep it. If you have an article that we include in an issue of the AHWN, we cover the cost of storage for those files.
We provide a "community" background directory and a "community" midi directory so that you can add some nice touches to your site without using up your space.
While we are not an ISP (we don't provide Internet access), we can set up an email account for you that will forward to your ISP account.
Should you cancel your account before the end of the contract, we will refund the remaining balance of your account ($4.16 per month). Our Internic fees have been prepaid for 2 years so we are planning on being around for awhile; however, if something unexpected should occur and we are unable to fulfill the terms of the contract we will refund the remaining balance of your account ($4.16 per month).
If you would like to set up a 3 month account, the cost is $15 for a 1meg site.
