Introduction:
In June 1997 while at the 49th AHCC Specialty, Karen Larsen (Serenade Afghans) and I were visiting with Barbara Tatkin-Walsh. She had Twister with her that day (even though he wasn't entered in the Specialty) so Karen asked her to bring him out of his crate to show him off . He was not only beautiful to watch .. good movement, grace, and bearing ... but also personality with lots of character. He is what (as Barbara would say) an Afghan Hound should be. Later that year, in his first show he won a 3 point major.
The AHWN is very proud and privileged to present Twister on the cover of the Winter'98 issue....

was BOS (Best of Opposite Sex) yesterday, and has another point. The judge,
Michelle Billings, told my handler what a 'WONDERFUL' bitch Delilah is! (I
knew that! : )) Coincidentally, Michelle is the very first judge I showed
under (at Knoxville in '95). I showed her Samson and Delilah when they were 7
months old.

Delilah Sings Hosanna won her very first point at Rolla, Missouri KC on
Mother's Day! Thanks to my kids for giving me a lovely mother's day present -
letting me 'run away from home' for a few days so I could watch her. Just got
home to all the kids (2 legged), grass a foot high, and 7 dogs that need
grooming.
