Cover Story - Champion Isfahan's Mint Condition(USA)
What we have in our blood line is heavy, heavy muscle and dense, dense bone. People ask if we do road work to get the muscle development that we have, but we don't. We breed it in.
8/16/97 Royce's puppies -- We were fortunate to be at the first show these puppies were ever in back in June. At the Southern California Specialty a few weeks later, they showed exceptionally well. -AHWN
Isfahan's Azul de Coupe "Clipper"
He was a terrific dog. Very smart. You could see it in his eyes. He was a thinker. Kay Finch really liked Clipper.
He was a mover. What I remember most is how beautiful this dog was when he moved around the ring.
Hannibal, Iceman, Devlin, Goldrush, Stuey, Mouse, Harry, and Ghost. Only a few of the Champion Afghans from Isfahan.
Hannibal finished his Championship in September! Congratulations from the AHWN to Frank and Robin Vasquez.

Dear Afghan Lovers. I can almost hear you thinking "Again a Home Page of Afghans". Yes, indeed, again another site on the World Wibe Web. But let me say that this site is a little bit special. By means of this homepage we want to show you a "certain type" of Afghans ... in one word, Afghans that originate from "De Oranje Manège". With this Home Page we want to show this type of Afghans to the world ....

On Thursday 19 June at 1400 our Djentasch passed away yesterday, on his 14th birthday we decided it could't go on this way. Everything looked so well, until last Tuesday,he couldn't walk or stand anymore. And the fire of life left his eyes, you could see he gave up living, it made our decision a little easier to call the "vet"
Sad story from Holland we are sorry,it's very difficult to write this mail, but we want to send it anyway.
People that have no dogs do not understand the way we feel, but we hope our Afghan friends all over the "Internet" know. Yes, it's hard to lose a friend, but lets think of the good time's we shared with Djentasch.......................
W+J and Kids
Last week Jan and Wilma van
der Wey sent us news that he had died. We were so sorry to hear he
had died. Each dog fills a special part of our lives and when they
die leave an empty place that never gets replaced.. You can

Hi,my name is Susi and I also read Marcelle's Angel's. I too experienced
a nightmare at the vets hands. Brandy's Story is now a part of
Marcelle's page located at sparrow@iscweb.com Please take a look.It
is amazing how much stories like these can help people deal with the
loss of thier friends, companions and special members of the family (I
am refering to our Afghans, of course.) Marcelle's story of Sheba really
helped me. I sobbed through the whole thing. While writing Brandy's
Story I could barely see the keyboard. None the less it has helped me to
deal with the guilt I have felt for all these years. I felt as though I
had failed her by not obtaining the best Doctor for her. It's so hard to
tell since they can't really tell us and unfortunately, Afghans are not
a common breed. Well, like I said, Marcelle and Sheba helped me and I
hope that Brandy and I can also help others. Please don't forget to give
them a HUG.

To all our friends and Afghan Lovers
Today, August 4, 1997 is a day of mourning. Ghazi-Khan el Jafistan, born
on January 14, 1982, son of Ch. Zaid von Katwiga and Bekori passed away at
22:00 Belgian time.
To keep the memory of this wonderful friend and companion alive, we will
publish this week-end a story and some pictures of Ghazi-Khan.
It's hard to loose a friend that has shared good and bad times with you for
more than 15 years. He had a long and happy life, but for us, humans, it's
always much too soon when we have to say goodbye.
