As life would have it we were delayed the past couple of weeks in completing the rebuild due to the arrival of Niki's Phantom Puppies - this season's phantom puppies were more real than the previous. She's past that now so we are back at work retooling the site.
It was a fast trip from SanFrancisco to the Grand Tetons and we were tired. Markey had been wanting to go somewhere for months. He loved to travel...
Mieke has DVDs and VHS available now of various Afghan Hound Shows and events. We just received a video of the 2002 NVOW Champion Ship Club Show and have throughly enjoyed it. She also hosts a discussion group for the VDOM Afghan Hounds! Friendly greetings from Mieke.
Begun in 1995 on the Internet using a BBS model the AHWN evolved by the end of 1996 into a new form of electronic publication. As part of a new media the AHWN included early audio and video clips (although not as sucessfully as we had hoped - in the late 90's just deciding on a compresion format that would work was difficult!). The original content and look of these old issues has been preserved.
